The governors of Sutton on Trent Primary and Nursery school are seeking to appoint a class teacher to join our hardworking and dedicated staff team.

The post will initially be for a mixed Y1/2 class or a mixed Year 5/6 class, dependant on the skills and expertise of the successful candidate. Candidates should state their preference in their initial application.

is an excellent classroom practitioner
is confident, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
is able to develop positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
has high expectations of children, colleagues and themselves
has a passion for education and the opportunity to impact children’s lives
wants to be part of a strong team, working together to build a powerful school community
can work flexibly across the primary age range, including within mixed age classes.
